Job titles may not be all that different than they were 5 or even 10 years ago, but the way we work sure has changed.
Today, files are stored in the cloud, we answer e-mails on a walk around the block and sign documents using a stylus instead of a pen.
And who back then could have envisioned printers that will translate your documents, into 35+ languages? (This article from engadget has your answer.)
Yet, at the same time, we also know that paper hasn’t gone away and probably isn’t. An estimated 40 percent of business processes still require that clean white canvas.
Given that paperless offices are so-close-yet-so-far-away, Xerox is announcing new smart MFP solutions today to bridge the paper and digital worlds – including the above-referenced EasyTranslator service.
The company’s new 2016 ConnectKey Technology enabled i-Series MFPs are equipped with ready-to-useapps to speed up paper-dependent business processes and make it easier for users to collaborate and work more effectively.
The i-Series is specifically geared toward giving employees the tools they need to print from mobile devices through offerings such as the @PrintByXerox App, a free mobile cloud printing solution.
These are just a few of the ways ConnectKey is keeping pace with the changing office.
Let’s take a look at exactly where those connections are happening.
